The intention of this post-graduate course is to review and deepen our understanding of biodynamic principles in clinical work, especially in relationship to what is known as the “three bodies” or “three fields.” We will learn to orient to these fields - physical, fluid and tidal bodies - as a suspensory system - fields suspended within fields. We will discover that Primary Respiration is a field phenomenon and all of life is organised as fields within fields. We will orient to the unfolding of healing processes within each field of action, appropriate clinical skills and the importance of a deepening state of dynamic equilibrium and balance where primary respiration clarifies and generates healing intentions. A series of perceptual and clinical exercises will be explored that, in a graded manner, aid in the clarification and deepening of these concepts and phenomena. This can have direct impact upon clinical outcomes, allow the practitioner greater ease in session work, and hopefully deepen participant's trust in the intelligence present in the human system.
This course is highly recommended for practitioners who want to deepen their clinical understanding of biodynamics in craniosacral therapy and is a required course for those interested in our Advanced Diploma. (Please note that our previous course, The Breath of Life also qualifies.)

Franklyn Sills MA, UKCP, RCST, BCST, is co-Director of the Karuna Institute, lecturer on the Core Process Psychotherapy Training, with specialist input in pre- and perinatal psychology and trauma skills.  Franklyn co-ordinates the Karuna Institute Training in Craniosacral Biodynamics and is a pioneer in the field.  His books include Craniosacral Biodynamics Volumes One and Two, and Being and Becoming, psychodynamics, Buddhism and the origins of selfhood.

Cherionna Menzam-Sills PhD, RCST, BCST, is a somatic psychotherapist, prenatal and birth therapist, craniosacral biodynamic teacher and practitioner, and has her PhD in Pre- and Perinatal Psychology,  She has taught in graduate programmes in both Somatic Psychology and Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology at the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute and Naropa University.  Cherionna is also an authorized Continuum Movement teacher, a form of mindful movement work that helps participants move beyond their conditioned form by accessing deeper life forces, reclaiming embryological developmental potential and fluidity.  She is author of two forthcoming books, The Breath of Life : An Introduction to Craniosacral Biodynamics, and Fluid and Cosmos: Accessing our Original Embryological Potential.
