In this three-day course we will explore what has become know as “inter-personal neurobiology.” We will look at the developmental, relational and feeling nature of the generation of “self-in-the-world” and the nature of Central Nervous System (CNS) organisation motility and sensitisation in states of stress and trauma. We will explore basic ways to help the CNS down-regulate and return to fluid, resilient functioning. We will use mindfulness practice, Continuum Movement and table work in these explorations.

Franklyn Sills MA, UKCP, RCST, BCST, is co-Director of the Karuna Institute, lecturer on the Core Process Psychotherapy Training, with specialist input in pre- and perinatal psychology and trauma skills.  Franklyn co-ordinates the Karuna Institute Training in Craniosacral Biodynamics and is a pioneer in the field.  His books include Craniosacral Biodynamics Volumes One and Two, and Being and Becoming, psychodynamics, Buddhism and the origins of selfhood.
